This clip is from an episode of the popular show The L Word that follows a group of lesbian/bisexual/queer women in Los Angeles. This clip touches on queer sexuality and shows us how many in the United States are still very uncomfortable with open discussions about sexuality especially when they include our own experiences and practices. I also wanted to bring into our discussions the idea that there are many communities in which the connection between technology and sexuality is assumed rather than questioned.
I hope you all find this clip as amusing as I did. I think humor is inevitable when you mix sexual technologies and airport security.
